Australia June 2005 – The text messages

May 31

SYDNEY

China visa application is in. They need to keep my passport, but i can collect passport and visa tomorrow morning at nine, so i can go to the indian embassy after that. Good good! No mention of referees etc… Lovely talking to you both as usual! Gonna get the bus back to the hostel area then take a slow walk down to the harbour, maybe check out the sydney opera house, the sydney harbour bridge, ho hum another day – ;-D all thanks to you two! Love you x x

June 1

Its going really well, bin hangin out with danielle my roommate, we took the long walk down 2 the harbour, had a nice long lunch, then we took a harbour cruise, saw the bridge & the opera house- fantastic! Then walked back 2 the hostel, goin out 4 dinner & drinks as a dorm 2nite, really nice! Thinkin of u x

June 3

I have spent most of my time going back and forth to the Chinese and Indian embassy’s, but hopefully that should all be sorted by Wednesday. Then I fly to Adelaide on Friday, or I will once I book my flight. Just figuring out how to cram everything I want to do into the next couple of days
But I have made it to Bondi and did the walk to Coogee which was beautiful. And I took a ferry round the harbour with one of my roommates, a really nice girl called Danielle, but she’s left for Cairns now. Then yesterday I went to the Aquarium and the Sydney tower, hoping to make it to Manly today if I can summon up the energy, I wore myself out in New Zealand! Lots planned for my month in Oz, so I expect it will wizz by.|

June 6

I had sucha gr8 day. The opera house tour was alot of fun, saw where im gonna b 2moz nite. Then the bridgeclimb was really wonderful, the sunset was beautiful, & cing the city turn from day 2nite was magical. The climb itself was alot of fun 2. If uve got time u mite wanna go2 my website/photos x
